Bridgetown, Barbados

For Mom & Dad's anniversary, us kids got them a "Surprise" a day. They were supposed to get something special every day but the cruise line had everything delivered on the first day - UG!. We had to get them to remove everything and deliver the items one a day as we originally had planned. Here are a few items they got.

Banner that fell down

Today while Jacki went to visit Glenn, the rest of us went on a tour - Essence of Barbados.
  • Drive through the historic area of Garrison Savannah and the south coast en route to the Rum Factory and Heritage Park.
  • Learn how rum is made in the most modern rum distillery in the western hemisphere.
  • Next, head to the 300 year old Sunbury Plantation House and Museum, where your guided tour showcases memorabilia of bygone days.
  • Finally, depart for Medford Mahogany Creations for an interactive tour of the only mahogany carving factory on the island.

I thought this was funny as this door can be kicked in with no problems, but they put a nice lock on it anyways.
