Farmer's Wife - Block 15

Buzzard's Roost

I think I might quit this quilt as the patterns that I have just are frustrating me to no end. The pattern for this block indicated a 3 1/2" middle square but then the paper piecing for both sides were over 1/2" short.

Can we say FRUSTRATING!!!
