Today I've decided to try and document my journey home from work. I'll provide a little commentary as well.

Ok you don't have to worry, there wasn't anyone besides the security guard following me in the parkade. Safe, sound and sassy!

*Footsteps and zombies referenced due to watching "The Walking Dead" for 2 hours a night the past 2 weeks. Yes I'm weird and proud of it.

View from the 15th Floor

Since my night photography class has been postponed until the first week in April, I thought I'd take my smaller camera with me everywhere I go for the next month and take a picture a day. Let's hope this goes better than my quilt-a-day attempt (which I do plan on finishing!). Sure wish I had time to do everything I want.

So here are my pictures from today. Both taken from my office view looking west down on the old Court house. First picture was taken around 11:45 am and the second around 3:40 pm. Welcome to Calgary where the weather can change quickly.

Acrylics Art Class

So a few friends and I thought we'd try something new so we took an art class.  It was put on by the City of Calgary Recreation division, was a full 6 hours long and all supplies included. The class was small - only 6 of us - but it was fun.  If the description of the class indicated we'd paint 4 pictures, I'd say they were nuts.  Any way, it was a lot of fun and here are my masterpieces!

Today Lucy & I went down town to get some pictures of the new Bow Building and the freaky statue in front. We walked around and got a few shot - ENJOY!

Weaselhead Hike

It was a very nice day to actually get out and enjoy the snow.  Beautiful blue sky, bright sun and trusty canine by my side.  Here are some pictures of our adventure - ENJOY!
